2. What is Juvederm?

It contains hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in our body that helps keep skin hydrated and plump. Juvederm products have various formulations that can be used to address different concerns.
3. What areas can Juvederm be used on?
Juvederm products can be used to treat wrinkles, lines and folds on the face, including around the nose, mouth and chin. It can also be used as a lip filler to give a fuller appearance, or to correct facial asymmetry.
Juvederm can also be used in other parts of the body to treat wrinkles, as well as to increase volume and enhance contours.
4. What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is a dermal filler made from calcium-based microspheres suspended in a gel-like substance. It works to plump and smooth wrinkles, lines and folds on the face.
Radiesse also helps stimulate natural collagen production to create long lasting results. In addition, it can be used as a volumizer to add volume to the face, as well as to fill hollow areas and reduce the appearance of scars.

10. Are dermal fillers the same as Botox?
No, dermal fillers and Botox are different. Fillers are used to restore volume and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines by adding volume beneath the skin.
Botox is a neuromodulator that works by temporarily paralyzing muscles in order to prevent lines from deepening over time. Both treatments can be used on their own or in combination to achieve optimal results.
